Evam is a contemporary design studio founded by Caroline Kable, a furniture designer and maker based in New York City.

Kable studied furniture design at RISD and has maintained a personal practice since 2014 — work that lives at the intersection of language and objects, where a carved word and a joined tenon are, at root, the same kind of making.

Evam grew out of that practice. The collection is designed by Caroline and produced in collaboration with carefully chosen manufacturing partners in India and globally — among them Aditya Jaimini, whose decade of experience building craft production in Udaipur brought the first collection to life.
